On Sunday, the Scott Christian University delegation, led by our Vice Chancellor Rev. Prof. Jonathan Mwania, was graciously hosted by the AIC Donholm family in Nairobi. The visit was marked by a deep sense of fellowship, service, and a shared commitment to raising Christ-centered leaders who will transform both the Church and society.
During the three worship services, the Vice Chancellor ministered powerfully, encouraging the congregation to remain steadfast in faith even in the midst of life’s storms. Drawing from John 16:33 “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” he reminded believers that while there is no such thing as a challenge-free life, there is blessed assurance in Christ who has already overcome. He emphasized the need to fix our faith firmly on God in every aspect of life, for in Him we find lasting victory and hope.
Also present during the visit were CPA Joyce Mwende, Member of the University Council; Pastor Judy, one of our Master’s students; Ms. Beatrice Kamene, Executive Secretary to the Vice Chancellor; and Mr. Sove Mitisya, Logistics and Transport Officer. Their presence highlighted the University’s holistic commitment to both service and leadership development.
A particularly memorable moment came when Senior Pastor Rev. Benjamin Kamende and Vice Chancellor Rev. Prof. Jonathan Mwania shared a joyful photo together. Both leaders stand as living testimonies of walking faithfully with Jesus, serving God’s people, and shaping communities through visionary leadership. The University delegation returned with a heartfelt report of gratitude, celebrating the warmth, generosity, and hospitality extended by the AIC Donholm congregation.
We extend our sincere thanks to Rev. Benjamin Kamende and the entire AIC Donholm family for warmly hosting us and partnering with us in advancing the mission of Christ.
