Public Lecture Inspires Bold Steps into Innovation and Dreams

We have  just-concluded the Public Lecture with Dr. Krystylle Richardson, PhD, under the theme “Your Dreams Are Waiting for You, So Jump.”

The event was organized and hosted by the Department of Research and Postgraduate Studies, under the leadership of the Director, Prof. Elijah Siringi. The lecture was officially opened by the DVCAA, Prof. Daniel Barante, who emphasized the urgent need for the University to establish an Innovation Centre of Excellence to nurture creativity and transformative ideas.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jonathan Mwania, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to strategic partnerships with organizations in order to drive progressive outcomes that will benefit both students and the wider community.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Krystylle Richardson, PhD, delivered an electrifying lecture that stirred hearts and minds. Her central message, simply captured in the word “DO” challenged attendees to believe in their dreams and take bold steps to bring ideas to life. She encouraged innovation through consultation, incubation, and acceleration, while also opening eyes to the possibilities of multiple income streams in today’s dynamic world.

The lecture concluded with a historic milestone: the signing of an MOU between Scott Christian University and Dr. Krystylle’s organization. This partnership will pave the way for the creation of the Innovation Centre of Excellence and future collaborative projects that will uplift the University and its surrounding community.
