Welcome to Scott’s School of Theology. The men and women who form our student body come from diverse backgrounds and are brought together at Scott Christian University (SCU) by a shared passion for serving Christ and his Church. It is always a joy to see the transformation that occurs throughout their time here at SCU.
The School of Theology is the oldest school at SCU, begun in 1962, and remains the cornerstone of the university since every program and every course offered at SCU is taught intentionally from a Christian perspective. Our programs within the School of Theology are designed to impart the biblical, theological, and ministry knowledge necessary to be an effective minister, church leader, and disciple of Christ in 21st-century Africa.
Furthermore, required field ministry, learning contracts, internships, and evangelistic campaigns help to shape the skills and character of our students under the supervision of qualified faculty mentors who themselves have extensive ministry experience.
Ultimately, our goal and prayer for all of our students is that they might address issues in the church and society biblically and with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that they might be leaders who serve humbly and lovingly, and that they might grow in Christlikeness, bringing glory to God and building his Kingdom in all aspects of life. Currently, our alumni are spread all over the world in church leadership positions, as missionaries, and in private and public sector jobs, serving and working to transform society for the glory of God. We wholeheartedly welcome you to Scott Christian University and, specifically, to the School of Theology.

The School of Education team extends a warm welcome to our incoming and continuing graduate students. We congratulate you on taking the first step towards achieving your educational and career goals at Scott Christian University.
Scott Christian University is a Chartered University in Kenya. We have our main campus located in Machakos town. We offer courses that have been approved and accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE) and are listed in the CUE’s website. Currently at the school of Education we offer; Masters, Bachelors, Diploma and Certificate Courses.
At the School of Education, we provide a stimulating learning environment interactive-learner centered and quality driven approach to teaching, learning and Assessment. We train, advise, guide, mentor and prepare our students to achieve their highest potential which is essential in the realization of one’s potential and preparation for the job market. Those who choose to study Education at Scott Christian University get access to a wide-range of courses that form a springboard to a sea of opportunities. At the School, we endeavor to promote a record of achievement and success in academic excellence and job prospects. As a student of talent and ability, you will be exposed to programmes that present a sound theoretical foundation and a strong practical background.
Over the past few years, the School has undergone tremendous change in terms of growth in faculty, student enrollment, and scholarship. The school is comprised of excellent faculty and staff who are committed to teaching and scholarship and to making your academic learning a priority. Our faculty members are among the best within their fields of expertise and have been trained at various reputed national and international Universities. They have been recognized within the university and worldwide for their, research and teaching.As a team, we have, and continue to work hard to maintain the integrity and quality of the educational programs by conducting cutting-edge research and scholarship in action projects.
