The Diploma in Theology is a three-year full-time programme held at the Machakos campus designed for students who are seeking to be well-equipped for pastoral or church-based ministry. Students who excel at the Diploma level may upgrade to the B.Th., entering the third year of the B.Th. after graduation with a Dip.Th., thus completing a B.Th. within five years of total study.

Diploma in Christian ministry is a program SCU hosts in collaboration with World Vision and Compassion International. Students are admitted to the programme at the beginning of each 2-year cycle with the next admission being in 2016. The partnership with World Vision allows students to be educated at different outposts nearer their home, while the partnership with Compassion allows students to come to Scott to study in the school based mode program which focuses on training church leaders.
